My Sim even went to the location of the lost mine and ripped the boards off of the cave mouth.

I watched the Youtube on it, and nothing was playing out in my game the way it indicated it would. The only girl got kidnapped and that ended up borking my game altogether. I started the game save all over again and was able to send the kids to uni. I drew the line when my Global Superstar was also run down. I tried to play after the mom got taken out, but then the only girl also got taken out. But the only two females in the household got taken out by a mad taxi that drove right through the livingroom to get to the side patio. Both times I was able to get them to the hospital. I had two of my Sims in the household contract the fatal illness. The fatal illness will wipe out my whole family in a few sim weeks alone. yea that's too many tragedies to close together. Is that including NPC's or just your household? Give me something a little more tragic than normal but a lot less extreme than the options listed above.Hmmm, I used this a while back (before the latest update) and if I recall on 'very slow', events happened approximately once every four or five Sim days. There's nothing less extreme than these options. The tragedies are always something extreme - kidnappings, fatal illness, serial killers, my sim gets run over by a random car, etc. The only speed that does something is the 'very fast' option but you can clearly tell that shit would get old and annoying very quickly.Īlso, there's no real middle of the road tragedies that happen with this mod. The 'fast' option is no different than the 'normal' option, in my opinion. And yes, I'm well aware of the ability to change the occurrence speed but still. There's no real medium in regards of the occurrence of the tragedies. Meaning - it's either on 'normal' and something tragic happens once ever sims week or it's on 'very fast' and something tragic happens every 10 minutes. My issue is something else entirely, and it has everything to do with the tragedy occurrence speed. The thing about that mod is that it does make this dud of a game a helluva lot more interesting and entertaining. I haven't done it yet, but I have been contemplating removing the Life Tragedies mod. I actually still like the Wicked Whims mod, so I haven't removed that one.
